FAQ
I deposited 10 tokens, but the credited amount isn't 10. Why?
This is normal and not a discrepancy — your total asset value has not changed. The difference is simply a change in unit: tokens are counted by "quantity" on-chain, while OKX displays your balance in "shares." At the time of deposit, the system converts the token quantity into an equivalent number of shares using the real-time multiplier. For example, with a multiplier of 1.00266, depositing 10 AAPLx tokens will credit approximately 10.0266 XAAPL shares — because 1 AAPLx token represents approximately 1.00266 shares. The total value before and after conversion is identical (1 AAPLx = 1.00266 shares × price per share).
I deposited AAPLx, but it's showing as XAAPL in my account. Where did my AAPLx go?
Your assets are safe. AAPLx and XAAPL are two names for the same asset — one on-chain, one on-platform. AAPLx is the token issued by xStocks on-chain, counted in "quantity"; XAAPL is the unified on-platform asset after deposit, counted in "shares." When your deposit arrives, the system automatically converts AAPLx into the equivalent number of XAAPL shares using the real-time multiplier (e.g., 1 AAPLx = 1.00266 XAAPL shares at a multiplier of 1.00266). Only the name and unit change — the total value remains exactly the same. When you withdraw, the system converts your shares back into AAPLx tokens.
Note: Please update your app to version 6.180 or above. You can view full deposit conversion details in your deposit history.
Which networks and tokens are supported for deposits?
Deposits are currently supported on XLayer and Solana networks for xStocks tokens. For the full list of supported tokens, please refer to the announcement.
Is leverage supported? Can I use these assets as collateral?
Single-currency margin is currently not supported. Certain assets may be eligible as collateral for cross-currency or Portfolio Margin (PM) accounts once they meet the liquidity requirements, subject to the applicable haircut set by risk control. Lending these assets to other users is not currently supported.
Is this a real stock? If I buy it, am I a shareholder of the company?
No. You are holding a tokenized product that tracks the price of the corresponding stock, giving you exposure to the price movements of the relevant stock. However, this is not the stock itself — you do not hold any shareholder rights, such as voting rights.
Is this product issued by OKX? Will OKX compensate me if something goes wrong?
Unified Tokenized Stocks are not issued by OKX. The underlying tokens are issued and managed by third-party providers. Your rights and obligations are governed by OKX's product terms and conditions.
