Best Crypto Card Singapore 2026: OKX Card Review
Crypto cards let you spend directly from digital asset holdings without manually converting to fiat first. For Singapore holders of USD stablecoins, a well-chosen crypto card eliminates FX costs entirely, generates cashback on everyday spend, and keeps your balance earning yield between uses.
This article covers how the OKX Card works, what makes it structurally different from other crypto cards, and how it compares to the alternatives available in Singapore.
At a Glance
What Is the OKX Card?
The OKX Card is a Visa Platinum debit card funded from USD stablecoins (USDC, USDT, or USDG) held in your OKX Pay wallet.
When you spend at any Visa merchant worldwide, your stablecoin balance converts to the local currency at point of sale through Visa's network. There is no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee, and no FX markup.
Why USD Spending Costs Nothing
OKX Card | Crypto.com | DCS DeCard | ether.fi Cash
Funding | USDC, USDT, USDG | Top up via fiat/crypto; rewards in CRO | SGD bank transfer or stablecoins (USDT, USDC) via Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Tron, Base | Stablecoins / crypto from a self-custody wallet; spend or borrow against staked ETH |
Because the OKX Card is funded in USD stablecoins, any purchase priced in USD requires no foreign currency conversion International hotel bookings, airline tickets, and subscription services billed in USD settle as USD to USD with no FX markup.
For purchases in other currencies (SGD, EUR, JPY, and so on), the card converts from USD at the live Visa rate. When you spend your USD stablecoins, a 0.1% asset conversion spread may apply for some types of token conversions. There is no additional markup on top of that.
Unlike the OKX Card, other cards funded in SGD or in a native token (such as CRO or ETH) must convert to USD first before settling in a third currency, which adds at least one conversion layer to every USD-denominated transaction.
The Staking Question
Of the cards compared here, only Crypto.com requires you to stake its native token to unlock meaningful cashback tiers: its top tier (up to ~5% back in CRO) requires roughly US$400,000 or more locked in CRO. When capital is locked in a volatile token rather than generating stable yield, the effective value of your rewards falls if the token price falls. OKX Card, DCS DeCard and ether.fi Cash require no token staking to earn their standard rewards.
OKX Card's cashback is earned in USDG, a USD-pegged stablecoin. There is no staking requirement and no lockup period. The cashback is worth exactly what it says it is worth.
Yield on Your Balance: A Category of One
OKX Card | Crypto.com | DCS DeCard | ether.fi Cash
Yield on balance | 8% APY on USDG holdings for VIPs (promotional, first S$10K); 3.5% for non-VIP *Accredited Investors only | None on card balance | None published | Collateral can be staked ETH earning restaking yield (not a stablecoin APY) |
Among the cards compared here, Crypto.com and DCS DeCard leave your card balance idle between transactions. ether.fi Cash lets you spend against yield-bearing collateral such as staked ETH, but it does not pay an APY on your stablecoin spending balance. OKX Card is the only one of the four that pays yield directly on the stablecoin balance you spend from.
OKX Card Accredited Investors earn up to 8% APY on the first US$10,000 in USDG (promotional rate), and 3.5% per annum thereafter. That yield runs continuously with no staking or lockup required: your balance earns from the moment it is in your OKX Pay wallet to the moment you spend it.
On a US$10,000 float, that is up to US$800 per year generated passively while the card sits in your wallet.

In comparison, other crypto cards usually offer only up to 5% cashback at the highest tier (in the case of Crypto.com & Ether.fi), or cap the cashback amount at US$200 per month (DeCard).
Verdict
OKX Card | Crypto.com | DCS DeCard | ether.fi Cash
Best for | Singapore Accredited Investors who want cashback and yield. | Users already holding CRO in the Crypto.com ecosystem | Singapore users wanting a homegrown fiat-or-stablecoin card from an established local issuer | Self-custody users who want to spend without selling long-term crypto |
For Singapore Accredited Investors holding USD stablecoins, OKX Card is the strongest crypto card option available. No staking required for cashback, up to 10% returns on eligible spend, up to 8% APY on your balance, zero conversion cost on USD purchases combine in a way no competitor currently replicates.
For users already embedded in the Crypto.com ecosystem who hold CRO, or who prefer a self-custody card like ether.fi Cash or a homegrown option like DCS DeCard, those cards may work as a supplementary spend option. For Accredited Investors who prefer an attractive cashback & yield card with additional lifestyle benefits, OKX Card is the better option.
