Market rules
This market refers to the full-match winner of the League of Legends match between EDward Gaming and JD Gaming in LPL 2026 — Split 3 Group Stage Week 5, initially scheduled for 2026-08-23 17:00 HKT.
This market covers the winner of the full BO3 match or series only. Individual maps or games, kills, objectives, rounds, handicaps and totals do not determine resolution.
This market will resolve to "EDG" if EDward Gaming wins the full match, and to "JDG" if JD Gaming wins the full match.
If the match is canceled without play or officially ends in a tie, this market resolves 50-50. If postponed, the rescheduled match must officially begin no later than 336 hours after the original start time. If it begins within that window, the market resolves from the final result even if the match finishes after the deadline. If it has not begun by the deadline, it resolves 50-50.
"Match begins" means the first map or game officially starts; check-in, draft/champion select, map veto and side selection do not count. If play begins but the match is not completed and an official winner is declared because of forfeiture, disqualification or walkover, it resolves to that official winner. If a winner is awarded before play begins, it resolves 50-50. If play begins but the match is permanently abandoned and no official final winner is declared by the 336-hour deadline, it resolves 50-50.
The controlling result is the official final ruling published by Riot Games / LoL Esports: https://lolesports.com/en-US/schedule?leagues=lpl. Games of Legends (https://gol.gg/esports/home) is an auxiliary verification source. If the auxiliary source is missing, delayed or conflicts with the organizer's official ruling, the organizer's ruling prevails. If no final result is available from those sources within 2 hours after the match concludes, a consensus of credible reporting, including verifiable video evidence, may be used.
Recognizable abbreviations, spelling or formatting differences, sponsor tags and a formal rename of the same competitive entity refer to the same team. Roster or player changes alone are not a team replacement. If a different competitive entity replaces a listed team before play, or the intended participant cannot be uniquely identified, the market resolves 50-50. A series-format change does not invalidate this full-match winner market if the same officially recognized fixture and participants are played.
