OKX Card cashback program FAQ
For OKX Pay and OKX Card, read the applicable PDS, FSG, TMD, and Cashback Reward Program Terms available here or by contacting OKX Help Centre. You should read these documents in full before making any decision about these products.
What cashback do I earn on an ongoing basis?
All cashback cap calculations are based on Sydney Time (GMT +10 /+11), regardless of the user's local time zone. Please refer to the table below for the rate:
VIP level | Cashback percentage | Cashback cap per calendar month | How much can I spend to earn the full monthly cashback |
|---|---|---|---|
Non-VIP | 2% | $50 | $2,500 |
1 | 4% | $400 | $10,000 |
2 | 4.50% | $900 | $20,000 |
3 | 5% | $1,500 | $30,000 |
4+ | 10% | $1,500 | $15,000 |
How is the cashback cap calculated for core cashback?
The cashback cap is calculated on a calendar-month basis. Once you reach the monthly cashback cap, you’ll stop earning cashback for the rest of that month. The cap resets at the start of each new calendar month.

What form of cashback do I receive, and when will I get it?
The cashback reward is first calculated in local currency (e.g. AUD), then converted to USDG for payout into your Pay account. Both amounts must reach at least 0.01 — if either falls below 0.01, no cashback will be issued for that transaction.
Stablecoin risk: Cashback is paid in USDG, a stablecoin. While stablecoins are designed tomaintain a stable value relative to a reference currency, they are not guaranteed by any government or deposit insurance scheme. USDG is not equivalent to holding Australian dollars in a regulated deposit-taking institution.
Once a purchase settles (as triggered by the merchant), you’ll receive your cashback within 24 hours.
Note: if a purchase that earned cashback is later refunded, the associated cashback reward will be clawed back from your Pay account. The clawback will be for the full USDG amount of the cashback originally credited. If the value of USDG has changed between the time the cashback was credited and the time of clawback, you bear any resulting difference.
Can cashback stack with promotional cashback?
No. Cashback rewards don't stack. If a promotion is active, the promotional cashback applies instead of core cashback.
How do I become a VIP?
VIP status is determined by your activity and assets on our platform, including factors such as account balance and trading volume. You can view your VIP level here and learn how to upgrade directly in the OKX app.
VIP tier eligibility criteria and the associated cashback rates for each tier are set out in the Cashback Reward Program Terms and may be updated from time to time. The availability of higher-tier benefits does not constitute a recommendation to increase your account balance or trading activity. Different VIP tiers may not be appropriate for all consumers within the target market for the OKX Card.
VIP eligibility tiers, caps and terms apply. Reward rates are not guaranteed and may vary.
