What's OKX Card PIN?
For OKX Pay and OKX Card, read the applicable PDS, FSG, TMD, and Cashback Reward Program Terms available here or by contacting OKX Help Centre. You should read these documents in full before making any decision about these products.
What's the card PIN used for?
Your OKX Card PIN is used to authorize in-store purchases when a merchant requires you to enter a PIN for verification. Never share your Card PIN with anyone, including OKX staff.
Where can I set the PIN?
Once you've opened the OKX app, select OKX Card and select Manage PIN.
Note: Find Manage PIN under the Manage card section on the OKX Card page.
What rules must my PIN follow?
Your PIN must:
Not be a repeated number (for example, 0000, 1111)
Match the required PIN length for your card
Not be based on your date of birth
Not match the last 4 digits of your card number
Not include any part of your phone number
Important — unauthorised transactions: Because Bano Pty Ltd is not a subscriber to the ePayments Code, the specific protections and liability allocation under that Code for unauthorised transactions (including PIN-based transactions) do not apply to the OKX Card. You should take reasonable care to protect your PIN and card details. If you suspect your PIN has been compromised or an unauthorised transaction has occurred, contact OKX Help Centre available on OKX's website at www.okx.com/en-au immediately. Your rights in relation to unauthorised transactions are governed by the terms set out in the PDS.
Can I change my PIN?
Yes. You can change your PIN at any time in the OKX app via the Manage PIN option on the OKX Card page.
What if I forget my PIN?
You can securely reset your PIN in the OKX app via the Manage PIN option on the OKX Card page.
Is a PIN required for every payment?
Your PIN is typically required for in-store chip-and-PIN transactions when requested by the merchant. Some payments — such as contactless or low-value purchases — may not require a PIN.
