How do I lock or unlock my OKX Card for security? (EEA)

You can lock or unlock your OKX Card anytime in the OKX app. Locking your card is a quick way to prevent new spending if you suspect unauthorized access or simply want to pause card usage.

How to lock/unlock your card

  1. Open the OKX app.

  2. Go to Card.

  3. Toggle Lock card to lock or unlock.

What happens when your card is locked

When your card is locked:

  • new purchases are blocked

  • some new subscriptions may be blocked

  • transactions that were already pending before the lock may still be processed

When you should lock your card

Lock your card if:

  • you can’t find your phone or suspect unauthorized access

  • your card details may have been exposed

  • you see a transaction you don’t recognize and want to prevent further spending

What to do if you see an unauthorized transaction

Locking your card helps stop new spending. You should also review your recent transactions and contact OKX Support (OK Assistant) to report the issue and get guidance on next steps.
