What type of card will I receive for OKX Card? (EEA)
Currently, the OKX Card in the EEA is provided as a virtual card. This means you won’t receive a physical card by default, but you can still use it for everyday payments online and, in many cases, in-store through a mobile wallet.
How you can use a virtual OKX Card
You can use it for:
online purchases by entering card details at checkout
mobile wallet payments (Apple Pay/Google Pay where supported) for in-store payments via NFC/point-of-sale terminals
What this means for in-store spending
To pay in a physical store, users typically add the virtual card to Apple Pay/Google Pay (where supported) and then use tap-to-pay on their phone or device. Because acceptance and terminal behavior can vary by merchant and country, your experience may differ depending on where you’re paying and how the terminal is configured.
If you don’t see the option to add it to a wallet
If you can’t add the card to Apple Pay/Google Pay or don’t see it available, check that your OKX app is up to date and that your account setup is complete, since wallet provisioning can depend on device support and account status.
