X-Perps (Expiry Perps) are a type of Expiry Future contract that combines the familiar mechanics of perpetual futures with a fixed expiry date. X-Perps use a funding rate mechanism to keep the contract price closely aligned with the underlying spot market. You can go long or short with up to 10x leverage across all markets — all on a MiFID-regulated platform built for European traders.
X-Perps are available to eligible traders in the EEA who have a verified OKX account and have completed the appropriateness assessment. As leveraged derivatives products, X-Perps are intended for experienced traders who understand the risks involved. You must be 18 or over and reside in a supported European country.
Getting started takes a few minutes. Create or log in to your OKX account, complete identity verification if you haven't already, and pass the appropriateness assessment. Once approved, deposit funds using EUR, USDC, or supported crypto assets and navigate to the X-Perps trading interface to place your first trade.
X-Perps trading starts at 2 bps maker and 5 bps taker for standard accounts. Fees decrease as your monthly trading volume grows — the more you trade, the better your rates.
