How do I invite existing users to join the Affiliate Program?

How to invite existing users

1. Set up invitation code

You can create a new invitation code or use an existing one to invite existing users.Note: Any invitation code can be used to invite existing users. To make it easier to track your invited users later, we recommend sticking to the same code each time.

  • App: Go to your Affiliate portal > Reconnect users > Invite now > Copy invitation link

  • Web: Follow the same steps — go to your Affiliate portal > Reconnect users > Invite now > Copy invitation link

Send the copied invitation link and your invitation code to the user. They'll need to open the link in a browser, log in to their OKX account, enter your invitation code, and provide a reason for the request before submitting.

4. Wait for the review outcome

OKX reviews request daily. Users who meet the eligibility criteria will have their rebinding completed within 24 hours of submission and will receive a system notification. You can track your invited users in your Affiliate portal under Users, filtered by your invitation code.

FAQs

1. Will users get notified when the rebinding is successful?

Yes. Once approved, users will receive a confirmation notification. You can also check your Chat in the top right corner of the OKX app home page to view system messages.

2. What happens if a user doesn't meet the eligibility criteria?

Users who don't qualify will see a notification as soon as they open the link and won't be able to proceed to the submission page.

3. Will rebinding affect a user's open positions or trading activity?

No. Rebinding only affects the commission relationship — it has no impact on the user's trades or open positions.

4. Can a successfully rebound user still be recalled?

Yes. If the user meets the 180-day recall criteria, they can still be recalled by a new affiliate.

5. Does this rebinding rule conflict with the VIP rebinding policy?

No, there's no conflict.

6. When does the updated commission rate take effect after rebinding?

It'll take effect in the next hour.

7. Do rebound users count toward affiliate assessments?

Yes, they do.
