What proof of address documents can I submit?

This article explains which documents OKX accepts as proof of address, so you can complete your identity verification without delays.

You only need to submit one of the supported documents below. It must show your legal name and current residential address, and it must be complete, clear, official, and unaltered.

Accepted documents

• Bank or neobank statement or letter — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Tax form, tax statement, or tax return — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Paystub showing the address — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Lease agreement — The lease must run for at least 6 months, be stamped or signed by both parties, and have at least 2 months remaining.

• Insurance statement — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Utility bill — Issued within the last 3 months. Mobile phone bills are not accepted.

• Mortgage statement — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Certificate of voter registration — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Government or recognised public-authority correspondence — Issued within the last 3 months.

• Employer's certificate for proof of residence — Issued within the last 3 months.

• National identity card, residence permit, or driving licence showing the address — Accepted while valid.

• Letter from an association certifying residence — Issued within the last 3 months; the association must be legitimate and independently verifiable.
