To get started on desktop, you have two options:

  2. Download the OKX desktop app: for a more complete experience, download and install the OKX desktop app from https://www.okx.com/download

How do I download the OKX desktop app?

You can visit the OKX Download page. Alternatively, go to the OKX official website, tap the Download icon in the top-right corner of the page > More options > Download desktop, select the version for your operating system (Mac OS or Windows), follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

How do I register and log in on the OKX desktop app?

  1. Open the OKX official website, select Sign up on the top of the page

  2. Choose your Country/region, select the checkbox to agree OKX Terms of Service, Risk and Compliance Disclosure, and Privacy Notice, then tap Create account

  3. Enter your Email address, Referral code (optional), and select Sign up

  4. Enter the verification code sent to your email

  5. Enter your Phone number and select the correct country code, then tap Verify now

  6. Enter the verification code sent to your phone, then set a password to complete registration.

Identity verification requires users to be 18 years of age or older (no upper age limit). Unverified accounts can't perform operations such as C2C buying/selling crypto, depositing/withdrawing (including internal transfers), borrowing, or transferring funds.

Note: if you have created a wallet, make sure to properly back up your wallet's seed phrase and private key. If lost, the assets in your wallet can't be recovered.
