欧洲数据保护委员会最新草案指南或使比特币在欧盟被视为非法

PANews 6月5日消息，据Bitcoin.com报道，法国加密交易所Paymium首席战略官Alexandre Stachtchenko警告，欧洲数据保护委员会（EDPB）最新草案指南可能使比特币在欧盟非法化。该草案将区块链公钥视为个人数据，要求在某些条件下可删除，但区块链技术特性使得数据不可篡改。

EDPB明确表示“技术不可行性不能作为不遵守GDPR的理由”，并指出若无法实现细粒度数据删除，可能需“删除整个区块链”。Stachtchenko批评该立场脱离技术现实，且匿名化方案亦不被现有法规认可。公众咨询期截至6月9日，若草案通过，比特币可能因无法满足数据删除要求而被视为非法。
