ID verification and selfie guide

Which IDs are acceptable?
According to the different Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements in various jurisdictions, users in the CN region can use their ID card or passport for verification. The ID must also meet the following requirements:
All information, including your avatar, is clearly identifiable;
Within the expiration period;
Include your date of birth.
How do I correctly take a photo of my ID?
The photo of your ID must be in color, and the ID must be the original document, not a screenshot, another photo, or a photocopy. The photo of your ID should also show all corners of the ID or document. Typically, you need to upload photos of both the front and back of your ID, as shown in the example below.

What should I do if my ID doesn't have a back side?
Some IDs or documents do not have a back side, such as passports. During the verification process, if needed, you can upload only the front side or the photo page. Here is an example:
How do I take an ID selfie correctly?
If you need to provide a selfie holding your ID during the verification process, please make sure to follow the instructions below:
The ID you are holding should be the same as the one photographed in the steps above;
The photo side of the ID should face the camera;
Take selfies in well-lit spaces;
Ensure the information on the ID is clear and easy to read;
Make sure your face is fully visible, with no obstructions such as masks, hats, or glasses;
Make sure your ID is not covering your face or blocked by your fingers.
