The cost of posted collateral

What is BUIDL?
BUIDL (the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund) is BlackRock's tokenized money market investment fund, issued on public blockchain rails by Securitize. It brings the economics of a money market fund onchain, wrapped in a stable, liquid digital asset.
Here's how it works:
Stable value. Each BUIDL token is designed to always equal $1.00 USD and does not carry crypto market price exposure. (The fund remains subject to fund-level risks including interest rate movements, liquidity conditions, redemption timing, and manager risk. Always review the fund documentation before use.)
Yield accrues daily, paid weekly. The fund pays yield based on its daily performance, benchmarked to the US Federal Funds rate — currently around 3.63% APY (shown as a 7-day average; actual yield may vary).
Backed by BlackRock. One of the world's largest asset managers manages the fund. (Management by BlackRock does not constitute a guarantee of returns or principal.)

Earn yield on idle USD. Buy BUIDL and earn competitive, stable returns on assets that would otherwise sit uninvested. No DeFi complexity. No off-chain movement required.
Use BUIDL as collateral for derivatives and margin trading. This is the key feature for VIP users. You can post BUIDL as margin, and it continues to earn while it sits there. Your capital doesn't have to choose between earning and working, it does both at the same time.
Deposit and withdraw BUIDL. Move BUIDL on and off OKX UAE directly — deposit from an external wallet or withdraw to one at any time, giving you full flexibility over how and where you hold your position.
