About UniswapLaunchpadBet

Uniswap launched pools.trade on Robinhood Chain, linking token issuance to Uniswap v4 pools. V4 volume reached ~$73.6M on day one, and Hayden Adams said pools.trade topped $150M cumulative volume by Aug 6. Versus launchpads charging ~1%, it uses a 0.25% LP fee, with part of fees auto-added to liquidity. Supporters see cheaper trading, deeper liquidity and a move from trading to issuance; critics warn lower fees may squeeze creators and rival launchpads. Can this give UNI a new growth story?

#UniswapLaunchpadBet Uniswap Is Expanding Beyond Trading. It's Competing for Token Creation. For years, Uniswap has dominated decentralized token trading. Now it's making a bigger bet. With the launch of pools.trade on Robinhood Chain, Uniswap is moving upstream—connecting token issuance directly with Uniswap v4 liquidity pools. The numbers suggest early interest is strong. Uniswap v4 processed roughly $73.6 million in volume on its first day, while cumulative volume on pools.trade reportedly surpassed $150 million within days. But the real innovation isn't just volume. It's the business model. Traditional launchpads often charge around 1% in fees. Pools.trade instead uses a 0.25% liquidity provider fee, with part of those fees automatically flowing back into liquidity. Supporters argue this creates cheaper trading, deeper liquidity and a more efficient launch process. Critics counter that lower fees could reduce incentives for creators while increasing competitive pressure across the launchpad ecosystem. The bigger question is whether Uniswap is evolving from a decentralized exchange into a broader issuance platform. If successful, UNI's long-term growth story may extend well beyond trading fees. It could become foundational infrastructure for launching on-chain assets. Do you think token issuance will become Uniswap's next major growth engine? Share your thoughts below 👇

#Uniswap enters the launchpad arena, can UNI open a new narrative? I am Brother Ci, and Uniswap itself has stepped in to create a launchpad. On August 5th, Uniswap Labs officially launched the token issuance platform Pools.trade on Robinhood Chain. This is not a simple feature update; it is a strategic move by Uniswap extending from the trading backend to the token issuance frontend. The platform offers two token issuance modes. Instant issuance suits projects with an existing community base; creators pay initial liquidity, and tokens immediately enter the Uniswap v4 liquidity pool for trading. The crowdfunding issuance sets a four-hour window, using a time-weighted average price bidding mechanism to suppress sniper bots; after the window closes, tokens settle into a permanently locked v4 pool. The core design of Pools.trade is permanently locked liquidity, fundamentally different from Pump.fun’s model of migrating liquidity after token graduation. Uniswap does not charge platform issuance fees, only retaining a 0.25% LP fee rate, of which 80% is automatically reinvested into the liquidity pool and 20% allocated to the token creator. Other launch platforms generally charge around 1% fees. The first-day data is impressive. On Robinhood Chain, Uniswap v4’s trading volume reached $73.6 million, surpassing Ethereum mainnet’s $47.2 million, becoming the most active network. By August 6th, cumulative trading volume exceeded $150 million. About 6,000 tokens were minted on the first day, exceeding the combined daily issuance volume of competing platforms like Pons, Flap, and Bankr. By trading volume on issuance platforms, Pools.trade has captured 50% market share. The top ecosystem token FRONG’s market cap surpassed $8.2 million. Community controversy focuses on fee design. Critics estimate that with $1 million trading volume, creators on other platforms can earn about $6,000 in commissions, while Pools.trade only yields Pools.trade is still in Beta. But one data point illustrates its scale.#AIMemoryBullTest #FedHawksVsWeakJobs #SpaceXUnlockRebound

Uniswap has expanded beyond being the infrastructure behind token launches—it has now entered the space directly with the introduction of Pools, its own token launch platform. The new system currently offers four launch formats, including permanent token launches and CCA auctions, with options that support creator fees or fee-free deployments. This move positions Uniswap as both the underlying protocol and a direct competitor to existing launchpad platforms. Interestingly, activity began even before the official frontend was fully available. Developers and traders were already interacting with the backend to deploy and trade early "OG" tokens. Some of the projects attracting early attention include: • $POOLS • $FRONG • $UNIFROG • $FORK This development raises an important question for the ecosystem: if Uniswap is now operating its own launchpad while also providing the infrastructure many launchpads rely on, how will competing platforms continue to attract liquidity, developers, and new users? The launch of Pools could reshape the token issuance landscape and intensify competition across the decentralized launchpad sector. 🚨 @Uniswap just launched its own token launchpad: Pools. Instead of only powering launchpads, Uniswap is now competing with them. The platform currently supports four launch modes, including permanent launches and CCA auctions with or without creator fees. But CT wasn’t waiting for the frontend. While Pools was still offline, traders were already deploying and trading “OG” tokens directly through the backend. Some of the biggest narratives so far: $POOLS $FRONG $UNIFROG $FORK Why would launchpads continue building on Uniswap if Uniswap is now competing for the same liquidity and users?#SandiskBeatAndBuyback #CircleArcLaunch #EarningsRealityCheck

📉 Uniswap's latest move feels like a strategic misstep. Instead of simply earning fees from growing launchpad volume across the ecosystem, Uni is now competing directly with the very platforms that were generating activity. By concentrating liquidity into a single launchpad, it risks reducing competition, weakening organic price discovery, and potentially hurting the meme coin ecosystem as a whole. From a volume and fee-generation perspective, the higher-EV move may have been to stay neutral and let the ecosystem create its own winners while Uni captured value from the flow. Sometimes doing less creates more value. Game is game. 🎭 #Uniswap #DeFi #Crypto #Ethereum #UNI

🦄 Uniswap Founder Criticizes High Launchpad Fees Uniswap founder Hayden Adams argued that the 1% liquidity pool fee used by some token launch platforms effectively creates a ~2% bid-ask spread, making it their primary tool for extracting value from traders. 🔹 Higher fees significantly increase trading costs. 🔹 Early liquidity pools become less efficient as token liquidity grows. 🔹 LPs on many launchpads often provide zero-cost locked assets, meaning high fees aren't justified as compensation for price risk. 💡 He highlighted Uniswap's pools.trade model instead, which uses a 0.25% fee with automatic fee reinvestment, arguing it offers a more sustainable approach to long-term liquidity. #Uniswap #UNI #DeFi #DEX #Liquidity #Crypto #Blockchain #HaydenAdams #Web3 #CryptoNews

Uniswap has launched a Meme coin launchpad on Robinhood Chain called pools.trade. The first token launched is called $FRONG, which is a frog. Even funnier, this token was minted 6 days before Uniswap publicly released the countdown video. What was Hayden Adams' response? "wait whats this about?" — pretending not to know. Then the platform went live 4.5 hours later than the countdown, and some parts of the page were still empty. Just think about this series of actions. Uniswap, one of the most serious infrastructures in DeFi, once claimed it would "replace traditional exchanges." Now it has opened a Meme casino on a chain that does tokenized stocks, and the first coin was pre-arranged by insiders. The idealistic era of DeFi is completely over. The surviving projects are all figuring out ways to make money, and the fastest way to make money is through Memes. #SepHikeOddsFallHawks #AIMemoryBullContinues #SpaceXUnlockRebound
