What types of purchases can’t I make with my OKX Card?
Some types of transactions aren't supported under the OKX Card usage policy. If you attempt to make a payment in the categories below, the transaction will be automatically rejected. This is working as intended.
The restrictions listed below apply only to OKX Card issued in the EEA region.
Category | Description |
Money transfers & remittances | Payments used for sending money, wire transfers, or money orders |
Cash disbursements | Transactions that involve withdrawing or receiving cash from financial institutions |
Financial institution services | Payments made directly to banks or financial institutions for services or products |
Quasi-cash transactions | Transactions that function like cash, such as buying stored value, vouchers, or similar instruments |
Cryptocurrency exchanges | Purchases or funding transactions made on crypto trading or exchange platforms |
Securities, forex & investment services | Payments related to securities brokers, forex trading, CFDs, or other investment products |
Payment service provider funding | Funding or settlement transactions with payment service providers or wallets |
Domestic & international money sending | Transactions used to send money within a country or across borders |
Card or terminal funding transactions | Funding transactions initiated via payment terminals or similar channels |
Tax preparation services | Payments for tax filing or tax preparation services |
Personal counseling services | Payments for debt counseling, marriage counseling, or similar advisory services |
Bail & bond payments | Payments related to bail, bond, or legal custody release |
Government tax payments | Payments made directly to government entities for taxes |
Note: Automated Teller Machine (ATM) withdrawals aren't supported by the OKX card.
